Hello dear scrapers, today's update contains:
- Drastically improved performance of scraping DRM videos (decrypting and caching the decryption keys mostly)
Don't ask how but somehow it took +10 seconds to look up a key in the cache. This has been reduced to less than 0.01 seconds.
- Security updates
- Crypto is dead: removed the ability to transact to crypto wallets to sponsor the project.
- Fansly: added a fallback that downloads the thumbnail when the content is locked/not paid.
I also attempted to migrate to a new mail provider, but it breaks magic URLs used to log in... and that's bad.
Friendly PSA about free trial abuse
Please don't abuse the free trial of the Supporter max subscription. Everyone deserves the chance to try these features out for free and see if it's worth, but if a handful of people try everything to keep getting free trials,, I'll have no choice but to block you from future Stripe payments and stop providing the free trial for everyone, forever.
